Drupal and Joomla Issues

Joomla and Drupal are both offered as “one click installs” by many web hosts, but not all hosting companies have integrated and upgraded their PHP, and this may cause these installations to not function properly. Many hosts even have PHP issues with their own online web site builders, which causes glitches and errors in sites that use these applications. Personally, I prefer using an off-line WYSIWYG editor to these applications, but they should work if they are available.
The way to avoid these problems is to choose a premium hosting service that has the latest upgraded version of PHP, and then verify that the installs of common content management systems that they offer are also the latest versions, before you install them. Also, check your site frequently, especially after you add a new module, and before you add all of your content, to insure everything is functioning properly. This will eliminate the headache of building your site, only to find out that it doesn’t function properly, or not at all.
My suggestions for the top hosting company uses Elefante scripts, and has upgraded PHP to make the installations easy and flawless. You should still check to make sure things all work as you go along, but issues and problems due to PHP incompatibility should not exist.
